Reducing CO2emissions is one of the most critical research frontiers. Additional oil recovery through CO2injection can play an important role in stimulating carbon sequestration and storage and help earn additional oil revenues. This article is paid, for by building a model of electricity production and carbon emissions from the country's thermal power plants, to identify and feasibility of carrying out the CO2-EOR project through the transfer of carbon from power plant activities through a dedicated pipeline and injecting it into oil fields. This model, which has been applied using system modeling tools to better understand the complexities of the studied problem, with the design of the main sub-systems of thermal and renewable electricity generation and the examination of the relationship between these sub-systems preliminary economic analysis, provides a plan for the feasibility of the project. The research results, while confirming the acceptable success in achieving environmental and economic goals, emphasize the need to conduct wider and deeper research and pay special attention to this approach as an outstanding opportunity to achieve the country's sustainable development goals.
