The purpose of this paper is to identify strategies and rank the corresponding risks in the operations, department of The Great Tehran Electricity Distribution Company.
The paper is based on a survey of managers and senior experts of Operations, Department.Using SWOT analysis especially internal-external matrix the best strategies have been identified and their corresponding risks have been ranked using ANP method. The results indicate that the best strategies include full of electrification, standardization of processes and procedures, managerial and organizational development and read-time operations.The most important risks include low access to up - to - date technologies, measurement errors and economic instability.
