Pricing Biogas Technology: System Dynamics Approach

One of the major problems in the development of renewable energy technologies is their high investment costs. However, technology development has an impact on technology prices, thus there is a mutual relationship between price and technology development. Government, buyer and owner of the technology are the three main players in renewable energy technology development. The development of these technologies is greatly affected by the behavior of the players.
In this paper, pricing of anaerobic digester as a renewable energy technology is modeled using system dynamics. A system dynamic model is proposed to model the relationship between the interests of different players, price and technology.
