@ARTICLE{, author = {}, title = {Energy Saving Estimation of Replacing the A-Class Evaporative Coolers in the Tehran Buildings (Residential) }, volume = {3}, number = {4}, abstract ={In this study, the energy saving potential of evaporative coolers has estimated with a bottom-up modeling technique. Although energy labels in evaporative coolers have a lesser impact on the annual energy consumption of buildings, but due to the large amount of used, their energy efficiency is an important issue. Usually, investing for energy efficiency is less than the equivalent value for generating capacity. There will also be no other operational costs for energy efficiency. In addition, investments in energy efficiency are much shorter, with shorter payback time. In this study potential of 979.884 Gigawatts of electricity and reduction 680927 tonnes Co2 release per year has calculated. By generalizing the results to the whole country, there will be potential of about 8 Twh of energy savings and reduction of 4 million tons CO2 release in Iran. }, URL = {http://epprjournal.ir/article-1-462-en.html}, eprint = {http://epprjournal.ir/article-1-462-en.pdf}, journal = {Quarterly Journal of Energy Policy and Planning Research}, doi = {}, year = {2018} }
