Identification of Climatically Suitable Areas for Solar Power Plants in Kermanshah Province Using Fuzzy Logic Model
Abstract:   (4167 Views)
This paper aims at the zoning and locating Kermanshah Province as regards solar power plants. At first, maps of annual sunshine hours, solar radiation, the number of cloudy days per year, number of rainy days, number of dusty days, annual average humidity, altitude and total annual precipitation as the most important climatic factors affecting solar radiation were produced in the Arc GIS. After standardizing the maps into layers in the range of 0 to 1, data has been analysed using two methods of fuzzy product and fuzzy gamma 0.9. According to the results, the South, South West and West of province are more suitable for solar power plants. The method of fuzzy gamma 0.9 has more flexibility and accuracy.
