To supply energy to remote areas, using renewable energy resources, this paper tries to analyze and model a stand-alone micro-grid. Uncertainities of wind speed, irridation and consumed load have been modeled by relevant probability density function. Scenarios related to stochastic variables have been generated using LHS method and clustered by K-means algorithm. Storage system and demand response programming have been utilized for compensating of nondispatchability of renewable resources as well as balancing between generation and consumption. Stochastic planning has been implemented on a typical micro-grid for minimizing total net present costs by preserving the expected level of reliability adequacy. The system is optimized with and without demand response application and the results are analyzed. Furthermore, the impact of using demand response program on the net present cost of micro-grid has been investigated. |
